Companies have to publicly disclose if they sell, produce, or distribute fossil-fuels. So, we track that.

Using Goods Unite Us’s data, we track the total percentage contribution of each company’s senior corporate executives to Democrats and Republicans over the last three federal election cycles.

We track if a company either has its own political action committee (PAC) and/or contributes to PACs.

If a company uses, produces, transports, or disposes of hazardous materials in the United States or emits hazardous air pollutants from one of its own factories in the U.S., the company has to disclose it to the EPA. So, we track that.

Once the SEC finalizes its proposed GHG emissions rules and mandates disclosure of Scopes 1 and 2 GHG emissions metrics, we’ll track that too.
